• ‘General purpose’ high-temperature welding blanket
• Glass fabric, heat-treated to remove organic binders, set the weave, reduce fraying & reduce irritation
• Withstands up to 550°c long duration and 700°c short duration exposure
• For protection against sparks and light-to-medium welding spatter, etc
• Also used for heat treatment / stress relieving / heat retention (wrapping of heated objects to slow cooling)
• Gives off very minimal gas/fumes when burned, for safer use and to prevent surface contamination when used to wrap objects
• Heavier weight / thickness for increased durability and insulating properties
